In terms of the player, I think Lothern is the best faction when you consider everything - military, diplomacy, and economy - altogether. So those are probably the strongest factions in terms of how the AI plays. If its your first time playing though, I would stay away from skaven and TK, as they play incredibly different from any other faction.
